Chapter 9

The blog URL www.shwethathemokkaparty.blogspot.com was opened. Someone was typing into the whole thing. The typing was about how Shwetha and Shalini were the same person!
The hands were stiff. The ideas seemed clear, and it could have only been someone who knew the whole story in detail.

As he gleefully continued typing, the wicked words came in a flow to Karthik. After all it was all his idea, he had framed Shalini and got her into all the pain now. Why else would someone who has already undergone treatment for MPD, get into the problem again?

He had proposed to Shalini the day Shankar left, and had recieved abuse and a slap from Shalini. He had never felt that embarrased before.

When Vishwesh came to insti after leaving Shankar at the airport, he found a dejected Karthik at the hostel canteen.
On being told that Shankar had left, Karthik got even more dejected and went to his room.
It also says though Shalini is a huge extrovert, Shwetha is a great introvert, to the extent that she wasn't even ready to reply once when some guy proposed to her.
It was then when Shalini apparently came up and slapped him for proposing to Shwetha and abused him!!

So, it was him who blogged on both the blogs about the Death, and made the personalities believe the other one had died. Even when Shankar died, Karthik had set the bomb for Shalini/Shwetha who he knew went to the pub room every night. Sadly for him, Shankar had become the victim. Even towards the end, the only reason why he let her safe into the asylum was because he was indebted to Vishwesh's friendship, and she was spared for Vishwesh.

She had become Karthik's weakness, and he had been pained a lot because of her, so he made her pained, made her go back to the days when she had MPD, and finally destroyed her life and sent her to the asylum. He sat there with a wicked smile. All he remembered was,
Anything that enters your life, must either stay there and become your strength, or leave you forever. It shouldn't stay in your life and become your weakness.
