This was a story I thought of and shared with Shre a couple of days. Considering it interested the both of us, and it had been long since I had written a story, I carried on with writing this. Thanks Shre, and thanks to all those who have been backing me.

And ofc, this is something I most definitely must use hence,
The characters in this book are purely fictional. Any similarities between them and real individuals are purely coincidental. ...

Chapter 9

The blog URL www.shwethathemokkaparty.blogspot.com was opened. Someone was typing into the whole thing. The typing was about how Shwetha and Shalini were the same person!
The hands were stiff. The ideas seemed clear, and it could have only been someone who knew the whole story in detail.

As he gleefully continued typing, the wicked words came in a flow to Karthik. After all it was all his idea, he had framed Shalini and got her into all the pain now. Why else would someone who has already undergone treatment for MPD, get into the problem again?

He had proposed to Shalini the day Shankar left, and had recieved abuse and a slap from Shalini. He had never felt that embarrased before.

When Vishwesh came to insti after leaving Shankar at the airport, he found a dejected Karthik at the hostel canteen.
On being told that Shankar had left, Karthik got even more dejected and went to his room.
It also says though Shalini is a huge extrovert, Shwetha is a great introvert, to the extent that she wasn't even ready to reply once when some guy proposed to her.
It was then when Shalini apparently came up and slapped him for proposing to Shwetha and abused him!!

So, it was him who blogged on both the blogs about the Death, and made the personalities believe the other one had died. Even when Shankar died, Karthik had set the bomb for Shalini/Shwetha who he knew went to the pub room every night. Sadly for him, Shankar had become the victim. Even towards the end, the only reason why he let her safe into the asylum was because he was indebted to Vishwesh's friendship, and she was spared for Vishwesh.

She had become Karthik's weakness, and he had been pained a lot because of her, so he made her pained, made her go back to the days when she had MPD, and finally destroyed her life and sent her to the asylum. He sat there with a wicked smile. All he remembered was,
Anything that enters your life, must either stay there and become your strength, or leave you forever. It shouldn't stay in your life and become your weakness.

Chapter 8

He kept watching into the webcam, and saw a bigger shock. Shalini spoke into the mirror, assuming the person in the mirror to be Shwetha. Then, Shalini's voice dipped. She became a very courteous introvert type female, and spoke to the mirror as if Shalini was in the mirror, and she was Shwetha.

She changed in a couple of seconds from soft to harsh, and back to soft. He had seen such behaviour only in the interrogation scene of Anniyan. Then he listened to what Shwetha had to tell to Shalini and vice versa.

Shwetha: I've told you plenty of times that what your doing is wrong. You shouldn't be this outgoing.
Shalini: What's your problem with that?
Shwetha: That's what I'm there for. The more you become outgoing, the more I'm needed in your life to maintain a balance.
Shalini: I don't need you.
Shwetha: You most definitely do.
Shalini: Please leave me alone. I need to go and party now.
Shwetha: No way I'm going to leave you. You can't go and spoil yourself.
Shalini: You bitch!!
Shwetha: I'm not one. And I don't want you to become one. That's precisely why I'm not letting you go aloose.
Shalini: You are one crazy idiot.
Shwetha: No I'm not. I'm helpful, and you don't seem to realise that.
Shalini: I don't need your help.
Shwetha: You do!

Saying this Shalini fainted. Suddenly, there was a heavy change in characterestics. It seemed very obvious from their conversation as to why Shwetha was created. Shalini was a tomboy extrovert and the inner feelings of hers also needed to be channelised. But she didn't get an opportunity for that. That was when Shwetha came into her. Shwetha was born to relieve Shalini of her extr(a)overtness. She was clearly a patient of Multiple Personality Disorder!!

Vishwesh decided to take the Anniyan route. He was still confused as to why she had to kill Shankar. But he decided to save her. He got lawyers and the video clip to tell that she was not guilty, and that she needed to be admitted to a mental asylum. She was being dragged when she did not agree to come into the asylum. Vishwesh left the asylum hoping she would be fine at the end of the whole course.

Chapter 7

The death ceremonies of Shankar were over. Vishwesh and Karthik didn't have the strength to even talk to each other. Vishwesh sat alone at home. He switched on his computer, connected to the net, and opened Google. He realised that the small investigation Shankar and him had begun had gone this serious. Now, there was no end unless he himself put an end to it.

He opened the webpage where they found the number of Shwetha earlier. He now sees a small link at the botton of the page. On clicking that page, he realised that it led him to a blog page. The blog's URL was www.shwethathemokkaparty.blogspot.com. They could have been rivals, but not to the extent of having similar URL's to their blogs. Now, he went into the blog and saw the shock of his life. The latest post here also read 'THE DEATH'. As if the real existence, and living condition of Shwetha wasn't enough, he now saw a post, a ditto rip off Shalini's post, except for the fact that Shwetha's name was replaced by Shalini here. So, Shwetha had essentially said her rival Shalini was dead. This shocked Vishwesh.

He went, drank some water, and switched on Shankar's laptop. He logged in and then saw for whatever groundwork Shankar had done there. He saw a file called EKS,EKS. EKS EKS was some kind of code the two had created among themselves to keep others away when doing something private. It asked for the password of the person using. Shankar and Vishwesh had chatted in private maximum about Vishwesh's love for Miss.V, so he tried Miss.V. But it didn't work. Then, it struck him. How could he forget? If there was something so private between them, and not shared with the world, it was their gay story. So it had to be ga(y)iety. It worked!! So, Vishwesh opened the file, and it read 23 5 2 3 1 13. He couldn't understand a thing on this notepad file. As he was pondering over this, his sister came and called him for a show of Ayan, to make him forget the pain. It was a huge loss afterall. But Ayan gave him the answer to the clue. Shankar and Vishwesh had seen Ayan a few hours before Shankar's death. In Ayan, Suriya had decoded 3 15 3 1 9 14 5 to COCAINE, and he guessed this had been set in the same pattern.
23 = W
5 = E
2 = B
3 = C
1 = A
13 = M,
and so the code decoded to WEBCAM.
Vishwesh immediately opened Shankar's Webcam, and lo! what a shock. It covered Shalini's bedroom through a spycam. Shankar was a genius! He had set a webcam in Shalini's bedroom, and after watching Ayan, found a way to set a code, and anticipating his death that night, had given Vishwesh a chance to crack Shalini's case.

Chapter 6

Shankar is back from Australia. Shankar and Vishwesh sit to get into the Shalini issue. They google Shwetha out extensively. But nothing proper is found. They also google for the deaths in the Lahore Shootouts. But the biggest irony here is that, there is not a single Hindu name in the list of deaths, forget something even near Shwetha. Then they search in full for Shwetha Balachandran. They find a Facebook profile by that name, with location Delhi! This has them freaked out. Probably such a female does exist after all. They manage to get the contact number of Shwetha.

Next they try to contact her, in vain, because the number seemed switched off for most part of the day. Then at around 12 in the night, Shankar got a call. And that too from the number of Shwetha. He picked it up, and started speaking. He realised someone by the name did exist, and told her that he needed to meet her. She made a couple of enquiries into who he was, and after he revealed a fake identity, she agreed to meet him. They set up the meeting at the City Pub, the next night.

Vishwesh, Karthik and Shankar had a party at the City Pub, the next evening. At the end of the whole thing, Karthik said he had to leave because his father was coming to the same pub with his friends that night. After he left, Vishwesh and Shankar discussed the future plan of action. They decided that they would find out somehow by the end of the day the mystery behind the Shalini story.

Then Vishwesh went outside the pub, and waited for Shankar to finish the work they had planned upon. Shankar walked into the room they had planned on meeting. It was 23:58 hours as he walked in. He went in and exclaimed screaming, 'No, it can't be you! What sort of devilish attitude is this?' As he screamed, the clock slowly ticked. It struck 12, and there was a deafening sound. Someone had set a time bomb in the room. As Vishwesh in full grief, sorrow and disbelief rushed to the room, he saw a female figure, the same one which went into the room as Shwetha, escape amidst the flames. It was her, the bitch after all who planned and killed Shankar. She needed to be punished, by law or by Vishwesh and Karthik. On getting to know the news, Karthik came back, and found his dad unhurt. But he had lost Shankar. No one cried more that night, the grief of having lost a true friend now hurt the hearts of Vishwesh and Karthik. But they had to cope up with it.

Chapter 5

Vishwesh: Macha, apparently an arch rival of Shalini's called Shwetha died in the Lahore shootouts. But she got so very disappointed for that. I don't understand why though. You need to help me with this.
Shankar: Yeah definitely. We need to get into this immediately. We can't waste time.
Vishwesh: What do you mean?
Shankar: I've discovered something even worse. Shalini never lived in Delhi. For the fact, not even in India.
Vishwesh: What do you say?
Shankar: She is from Macau.
Vishwesh: Are you serious?
Shankar: I obviously am. I just met Mr.Moi Hu Jang, an arts student, from the Li Hui University, Beijing, who spent his last four years with Shalini.
Vishwesh: And how do you know they knew each other? What if Hiuen Tsang or whomsover is lying?
Shankar: It's Hu Jang.
Vishwesh: Whoever.. What if he's lying?
Shankar: Am I blind?
Vishwesh: Are you in love?
Shankar: Ob not..
Vishwesh: Then ob you aren't blind.
Shankar: And I saw a picture of the two of them together.
Vishwesh: She might have been to Macau on a visit.
Shankar: It was a class group photograph, the last pic they took at school, after their prom.
Vishwesh: Whoa..
Shankar: That's not all. Apparently she's told everyone here she is going to London. He was shocked to know she was in India.
Vishwesh: Now if she wasn't in Delhi, then what's the Shwetha story all about.
Shankar: We need to find out.
Vishwesh: Go Google..
At this juncture, both login to GTalk and simeltaneously search as they chat as follows..
Shankar: Wait, look at this link.. www.shalinithemokkaparty.blogspot.com It says Shwetha Balachandran is everything Shalini is, and therefore they aren't actually the best of friends.
Vishwesh: Yea, it does.. But then she was mourning her death. The link also talks about the two of them having an on-off relationship. At times best friends, at times sworn enemies.
Shankar: It also says though Shalini is a huge extrovert, Shwetha is a great introvert, to the extent that she wasn't even ready to reply once when some guy proposed to her.
Vishwesh: It was then when Shalini apparently came up and slapped him for proposing to Shwetha and abused him!!
Shankar: How absurd..
Vishwesh: Hey by the way Karthik wants to join the chat da. Lets not tell him about this as he loves Shalini and might not like to listen of stuff like these about her. Is that fine with you?
Shankar: Deal..
Karthik Bhatt has also joined the conversation
Karthik: Macha Shankar, when you coming back da? I'm extremely sorry for what I spoke the other day. I was drunk.
Shankar: Its fine da macha. Im coming back in two days. I shouldn't have slapped you either. Forgive me for that.
Vishwesh: Great, the reconcilation happened! :) Lets go for a dinner once your back da. Both you dogs treat me.. :P
Shankar: Yea rite.. :P
Karthik: Def da.. :D

Chapter 4

Vishwesh was an avid blogger. He after making a customary weekend post, opened the search column of blogger and searched for Shankar and Karthik. This was just for fun as he knew the two of them didn't write blogs. Then he searched for Shalini Bhargava. Shalini was on Blogger. So he just proceeded to read the blog. The latest post read, 'THE DEATH'. This freaked Vishwesh out. He went through the previous posts and realised Shalini had a friend called Shwetha. She hadn't actually been a friend in the sense of the word. They were arch rivals, but said by the posts like they were yin and yang, arch rivals who couldn't actually live without one another.

He didn't know what to make of Shwetha, a friend of Shalini's or an enemy. The latest post talked about Shwetha expired in Lahore, due to certain terrorist attacks which happened in the city a couple of days ago. Shalini actually seemed freaked out with that.

Vishwesh immediately called Shalini, asked her to come to the college main park. They went on a walk, where he seemed to console Shalini. She seemed freaked out with the whole idea of Shwetha's death. She couldn't take a bit of it. All she was doing was sobbing. Vishwesh tried, and partially succeeded, but then the loss of someone she knew pretty well took quite a toll on her.

It was seeming pretty sad for her right here. After giving her a long chat, Vishwesh walked back to the home. He was waiting for the next time he would talk to Shankar to tell him the matter he had got to know today.

Sunday came, and so did the call from Tasmania. Shankar was chatting funnily with Vishwesh for a while, when suddenly the whole tone of the conversation became serious.
Vishwesh: I got something important to tell you.
Shankar: I got something important to tell you too.
Vishwesh: Its about Shalini.
Shankar: This is about Shalini too.
Vishwesh: The past is to be revisited.
Shankar: Here too.
Vishwesh(baffled):Maraindhirukkum marumam enna?
